Not dissing or putting Arctic Fox or Northwood's RV down but most that constantly recommend them are from people living in the Northwest USA as that's where they are made (La Grande, Oregon). However, you seldom see Northwood RV's in the eastern half of the USA as they don't not sell well at all east of the Rockies or even have a better than average reputation there. lots of leaking and delamination, rot, and/or electrical issues reported and their interiors are very outdated yet in what's being made today. Perhaps, you might have a better opinion if you get a good one but time will tell.
On the other hand, Lance RV's are made in Lancaster, California (north of Los Angeles) and you do see a lot of them east of the Rockies also as they are very popular and sell well all over the USA. Lance uses NO wood in their construction or anything that will absorb water or moisture and thus do not rot or support mold growth. Just interlocking and welded aluminum, tight fitting machine cut closed cell foam board, and Azdel composite panels for several years now.
Jayco Jayflights and Eagles made in Middlebury, Indiana are very popular all over the country and have been for many decades and you will see them everywhere, even the 1970's model years so they sure must last a longtime as they are nearly 50 years old now and still going.
Regardless, your $10,000 budget will mean likely mean an older 10+ year old hopefully been maintained properly decent built travel trailer. You certainly do have more than enough truck to pull the size TT you are thinking about so no issues there.
Happy hunting!
