What pop-up truck camper to buy?

Hi My experience with popup campers is limited to our 2007 8 foot alaskan with the extended cabover.I can say we have had no issues with any water leaks raised or lowered,the hydraulic lift works very well with the 12 volt pump just press the botton.However storage was a bit limited so we upgraded to a flat bed with storage boxes under the bed and under the wings.Also added A coustom 27 gallon grey water tank under left wing behind the tool/storage box.I realize alaskan campers are a bit more expensive comparitvely speaking.If you watch the for sale advertizer list you can find some good used ones occasionaly.We had good luck and found ours about 50 miles away and was only 4 months old never been used but one night.Paid less than half of new cost. I am sure there are many other good brands of popups out there just do your reasearch and as to what fits your needs and ask questions. Hope to see you on the road.
