what should be done to the suspension of your truck

I have torklift and fast gun tie downs. I do not believe I get the fast guns tight enough? It seems as though there is a little slack in them once they are closed but I can only tighten them so much before they will not fit into the holes. I never had tie downs before so I am not sure how tight they should be. I did have about 30 psi in the airbags I will decrease that.
