Sure, we lived on Vancouver Island and did numerous trips in the rain for decades. It's just water so we'd still be out hiking and exploring.
Now we camp in snow on the shoulder seasons in Yukon, and still don't have a TV. Rely on things like a deck of cards, a crib board, an old-fashioned book, puzzle games, etc. Haven't gone stir crazy yet :B
