Have you considered going with a 3/4 ton now? You will get the bug for more room, and want to get something larger and heavy. I have read more posts on these Forums about someone with a 1/2 ton and can't tow what they want, or already purchased. Sometimes when you try to add spring upgrades, shocks, bags, tires-wheels, etc, you end up spending more than a 3/4 ton from the start.
