What wax works best for you?

The manufacturers of the 3-rigs I have owned have all specified to use a quality marine/rv wax. So while a good car wax is better than no wax, IMHO and at least the 3-mfg's. I have spoken with, you would be better served going to a marine and or rv wax for better protection. MeGuiar's is a quality wax, car or marine/rv. I have used Meguiars Flagship marine wax for years and have been quite happy with the ease of application and the longevity. In reality you are pretty safe to go with any of the name brands as they should be pretty close in protective capability. Also the manufacturer of my new rig has also suggested using Protect All which I may try. A lot of folks speak of it's super easy application and protective capabilities. Worth a try.

I use 303 on the entire camper per the manufacturer (Northstar). I have also tried various waxes on the nose and have found that Mothers synthetic and McGuire's carnuba last the longest for me.

I use turdle paste wax myself.

I haven't seen it mentioned but I use Collinite, used it on my boats and it works well.

I've been happy with Klasse "all in one" product. I went over the front cap with the sealant. Both very easy to use.
3M Marine ultra performance works well too.
Nothing wrong with Meguairs either.

I've only tried a few more, but this seems to work.

I have been using Meguiars since 2000, tried 303 but after the last trip, 8,600 miles, and it was ok. I am going to try Lucas Slick Mist, wipe on wipe off, no rubbing in wax and buffing off. I find it frustrating trying to see where I stopped with the wax on a white camper. We will see how this Slick Mist works and report back.

I have used Nu Finish. I lasts based on beading of water, but otherwise I cannot say it does much for the appearance of the RV or for making it easy to clean. This year I tried Meguiars marine protectant. The first coat did not help. It left a mottled appearance with minimal shine. I put on two more coats then gave up. I stripped of the wax with ammonia clean and rubbed with bar keepers friend. Since I had so many coats of wax, I did this carefully twice. After that it was easy. I just wiped on a few coats of ZEP. The RV glows with a nice shine and seems to repel dirt. It has only been a month or two, but according to the internet it should last at least a year and then only require a touch up coat. The ZEP approach is recommended for older RVs, not new gel coats.

Contains UV inhibitors, doesn't turn black plastic white, use it on windows, easy on and easy off so I use it more often. Great stuff.

303 is a great product and I use it on all my trim, rubber & plastic components but per the manufacturer Aerospace 303 it needs to be re applied about every 5-weeks. For me to do that on smaller surfaces is fine and worthwhile but on an entire rig not so much.
