Amen to this! - camperdaveExplorerI've made a lot of modifications to fit my personal needs. Things like adding drawers, building a shelf over the bed, removing the microwave in favor of more storage, electrical upgrades, better mattress etc. The one thing I would change if I could would be to have a built in generator that runs off the LP tanks. I dislike having to move the portable genny around, and having to carry an extra gas can for it.
- Passin_ThruExplorerNothing. Can only sit in 1 swivel chair at a time, my TT is 4 seasons and at 14 degrees is warm. Changed the tires to 16" Michelins Lts. I bought an Arctic Fox knowing they were, bright, lots of mirrors to make you have an illusion of size, white Oak cabinets and lots of lights. 2 TVs so I can watch both and be really confused by twice as much nothing while eating Chocolate coated Sugaar Bombs for breakfast.
- DustyRExplorerI have a 2012 Coachmen Denali 270FK and I would gladly sacrifice the couch/love seat for a home office in this space. I believe the next time I swing by home I will make that happen. I could go to IKEA and haul the couch home in the spring. I get tired of my home office being on the dinette.
Any suggestion how to utilize this space as a home office with out going overboard weight and dollar wise??
The unit with exception of the above space is more than adequate and comfortable. - vicmitchExplorerA brand with a verifiable reputation for high quality through out the RV trailer
A slide out in the kitchen/dining area
Double pane windows to keep condensation away in our cool climate
A roof with some built in slope
At least some attention to aerodynamics to make towing a little easier
tanks at least 40 gallons and maybe doubled up gray water with even larger fresh water tank to make showers more viable - Cuffs054ExplorerA bathroom big enough for me to sit on the crapper and still be able to close the door!
- KittykathExplorer III'd trade the day/night shades for just night shades. 10 of 13 windows have both, and they can't be operated together. Lots of extra work for not a lot of benefit...unless you're a contortionist.

Hmmmmmm...... the ones I talked about are a one size fits all (in various colors). You can find them at most any big box store, and a few sporting good stores if you want to pay top dollar.
Here's the type of strap I posted. Muellers Jumpers Knee Strap - One Size Fits All
Someone did mention a different brand (and add a link), but this is what I'm talking about. I've never seen a size option on these and I own 4 of them now.
.
Thanks for the info. I'll take a look this week. - BonefishExplorerMurphsmom,
I often wondered why that about the vents.
Ours has one in the kitchen area that gets broken over & over.
One thing I did not put down until reading others is tinted windows.
Sharon - MurphsmomExplorerI would move the heat vent in the floor that you step on every time you go into the bathroom. Can't for the life of me figure out how those designers missed that one. Obviously they never set foot in there once the trailer was built.
We have changed the U shaped booth to a bench seat on each side of a much larger table that reaches from the wall to the edge of the bench. Had it made with the same laminate as the rest of the laminate in the trailer, so it looks like it came that way.
I would also love to have the drawers in the kitchen closer to the sink and stove.
We have a 2013 Keystone Cougar 25RLSWE.
