Hello forum,It might be time for our family to upgrade our camper. We currently have a 2006 Rockwood Roo 21SS and it's been PERFECT for our family so far. But as our kids get older (and bigger!) we might need a little more space.We love the tent ends and the big slideout, we'd want to keep that. We have three kids, and the foldout couch is starting to feel small for a sleeping area, so we'd want to gain a little more elbow room and sleeping room. Also, my wife would like to gain more space for food prep.What's our next hybrid?

Have you checked the ROO 23 SS and 23 IKSS (has an island)? With the IKSS in particular, in addition to the extra counter space, you would have enough room for a small folding kitchen table in front of the couch.The best site that I am aware of to look at floor plans and compare models is rvwholesalers.com

Roo 233s has there beds. Slide out is not as big, but you get a third bed so no one is subjected to sleeping on the dinette or sofa.You can't get it all. The first thing to go in our case would be the third bed, as long as the table or sofa folded out to a decent-sized bed.Does anyone have any first-hand experience with either of these models? (ROO 23 SS and 23 IKSS) Do you own one? Have you walked through one at a dealer? If so, does it feel spacious enough for a family of five? Which one do you like better?

Roo 233s has there beds. Slide out is not as big, but you get a third bed so no one is subjected to sleeping on the dinette or sofa.

You can't get it all. Bed space will trump the slide size and "food prep."

Ages for your kids? Genders? Boys will usually welcome sleeping in their own tent and leave the camper for everyone else.
