- handye9Explorer IIOld radio had a DVD player built in. That cable probably runs from backside of the radio, to a video plate located in the wall by the television. Maybe, up into the ceiling and down inside a wall.
Use a multimeter to do a resistance test between that cable and the wall plates by the television. I think you'll find the other end of that cable is attached to the backside of one of those plates. - az350xExplorer

Maybe the old radio had a DVD player & the plug is for the video - going to the TV??
I think you're right about old radio having DVD, but cable goes up into ceiling instead of down to tv location. - az350xExplorerHere's the connector. I uploaded from photobucket app on my iPad (just installed it today, so learning my way around it), and don't see an option in app to format size, so apologies to moderator if it's too wide.
Here's antenna. Fixed position, low profile. Digital tv? Hd antenna? I've had the crank-up articulating ones before, but never one like this. Could the plug be for it? If it's not, I don't see any other way to connect it, so I'm thinking its a tv antenna with fm integrated, because I have no other antenna on the roof, and have a car deck hooked up and playing fm as I type this. - JesLookinExplorerMaybe the old radio had a DVD player & the plug is for the video - going to the TV??

Sorry- meant to state that it's in addition to the FM antenna plug.
In this case, it's a gold-plated (what I know as) RCA-type connector. I believe the color band on the plug is yellow, which is typically video I thought.
I'll post a pic of the antenna and also the plug.
Now- let's see if I can remember my photobucket password... :)

- YC_1NomadDitto on the RCA plug, and yes indeed referred to as a Motorola plug. It is for a radio. The center pin is about an inch or so long and the outside is maybe 3/8 of an inch.

Posting pix will make all the difference. What you refer to as 'RCA' has been mistaken as what is actually a 'Motorola' (and a newer one I don't remember) that is an AM/FM broadcast antenna connector.
I've never owned this new (2013) of an RV, so am curious what the antenna is on my roof? Seems to have a single RCA plug coming out of ceiling for an antenna feed...
PIX!!! - dspencerExplorerI have a 2013 Gray Wolf and my tv antenna looks like a dinner plate setting flat on a tripod.
