We have often paid the monthly rate due to the large discount as long as it saved money vs paying the daily or weekly rate for the period of time we plan to stay. It has actually caused us to extend our stay a couple of times.
Just recently we decided to stay an extra week because the monthly rate was cheaper than paying for 3 weeks we originally had planned to stay.
If we like the campground and area we usually stay 4 days to a week.
We do stay up to 4 months during the summer at a RV Resort near San Diego each year. It started out as one week 20 years ago and then 2 weeks,3 weeks, two months, 3 months and last year 4 months we had planned on leaving after 3 months,2 weeks and a couple of days but the monthly rate was cheaper so we extended.
