When did Lance go to an Aluminum/Azdel construction

I've been hawking the classifieds and you see a lot of used Lances for sale. Not surprising given the popularity. Does anyone know when Lance went to the current aluminum/azdel construction methods? I...

Aluminum frame started in 2006, but if the camper doesn't leak, wood is fine just a little heavier, I just bought a 2003 and it is still perfect, actually my older 1994 is still just fine with no problems
