Agreed. The OLM in my Wrangler sure knows when I've been playing off-road and drops the oil change to about 3,000 miles. When I'm mainly on-road it jumps to about 8,000 miles.
But on my GM it pays to monitor the percentage of use. I saw it glitch once and jump from about 60% used to 0% used.
