My wife drives her car so little we get the oil changed every year so matter what!
I also think the time factor should be involved, not just miles driven. My wife and I have a car, and two trucks, so don't put a lot of miles on any of them. I change yearly, no matter the miles, and adjust changes by useage.
There is a difference between 7500 hiway miles in a month, and 7500 city miles in 18 months.
