- JaxomExplorerI wonder how difficult it would be to cut out a trap door.
Some of us don't have the dance hall floor space as others...cough, cough DAK cough. - pjay9ExplorerDAk...don't pay any attention...enjoy the floor space as I do in my 1161.
As for whose bags...it happens to be what ever comes up next in the bag holder...I notice I just used one a few days ago from a trip to the GOM. Since I am going to be stripping out the TC for rebuild I have not been replenishing my stock. I do double up when in the can cause I encounter unexpected holes. Have you ever wondered how the holes occur, they certainly were not there when lugging the goods from the store to your vehicle...do I have plastic bag bugs in my bag holder...time to fumigate...but with what..suggestions welcome!!!
Now how many pages is this going to go? I wonder if anyone has gained any insight to a better way!!!! :>))) - Reddog1Explorer IIWalmart for me. Gotta support the campgrounds.
- MORSNOWNavigator IIII'm a wastebasket user, with little plastic bags. It fits nice and neat right below the refrigerator close to the stove and sink.
Now for the controversial trash opinions. Which store has the best bags to use as trash can liners? I re-use the brown plastic bags from the Commissary on base (I'm retired USAF). They compliment the earthtones inside my camper...hahaha - tuna_fisherExplorerNow this is something everybody need's to know! And 4 pages so far.
- bka0721Explorer IICount me in as Wastebasket user too, with a grocery sack liner. I made a cover for it, to use as an extra seat when I put my boots on or work on something closer to the floor.
b - jefe_4x4ExplorerOur garbage bag is a plastic grocery bag that fits perfectly in an ancient, half oval, plastic coated wire basket (that used to be under our stick house sink in years past screwed to the cabinet door), screwed to the bulkhead between the dinette and the space under the fridge. We are stocking up on bags as they will soon go the way of buggy whips. This has been excellent for us over the last 14 years of TC ownership. I still have one more coated wire basket in reserve as I have not seen them for sale for decades.
You know you are getting older when,
all the great and simple gadgets you have relied on in your lifetime are being slowly and inexorably phased out. 8<(
jefe - Camper_Jeff___KNavigatorGarbage under the sink on a hanger made for plastic bags. TP in water heater compartment in Ziploc bag accessible through TP holder door by throne. PT in whatever space available. Wine in fridge.

Now, ain't we something. Not a humble plastic container, but a stainless chrome container with a foot pedal opener. And with enough floor space so that it's not in the way. :B
My trash bag is in a stainless chrome container with a foot pedal opener on the floor in the kitchen. My 1055 has enough floor space so that it's not in the way. :)

Congrats on your new (to you) TC.
