Reality Check, has your question been answered? I ask, because we are sliding off topic. For the most part, the post are related to your question, but not directly.
Three glasses of wine = dumb threads.
So where do you have your garbage can/hang your garbage bag/throw your crap? Tell me it's not on the floor like in your truck...
Do we let it slide?

On hooks in the bathroom. It is not visible, out of the way, in a vented space, and any drips cause no problem.
After another glass of beverage, you might want to start a thread asking where folks keep shoes/boots/etc. Storage space for these is something that RV designers usually ignore.
Great questions and worth asking though I suppose I could be accused of being constantly drunk or (from Colorado) high for thinking so. Ha ha.
My truck camper is a popup and so there may be some unique aspects of the layout that I am working with, but our garbage bag is stored in a wastebasket that goes under a cupboard right near the pass through window:
My wastebasket doubles as a grey water bucket that I empty into the campground drains on extended stay trips.
As for the shoes, we use one of those snapping storage containers which nicely sits inside the bathroom and can be removed easily: - BedlamModeratorThey're trying to do the same north of CA too. You have to get away from the Libercities before common sense rules.
- Super_DaveExplorerComing to a State near you. California passed a law last month that will make store plastic bags illegal starting next year. Another tree hugger city near me has gone to charging for bags at check out.
- BedlamModeratorA small bathroom waste basket under the kitchen sink lined with retail bags is what we use. If at a campground, trash is dumped daily. If boon docking, the small bags are deposited into a larger one that sits in the trailer or on the rubber floor of my truck cab. There are too many animals where we camp to leave anything outside.
- mooring_productExplorerWe use white draw string kitchen bags. I hang them off a drawer in the kitchen.

Thanks pjay9! I am SO enjoying it! :)

Now, ain't we something. Not a humble plastic container, but a stainless chrome container with a foot pedal opener. And with enough floor space so that it's not in the way. :B
My trash bag is in a stainless chrome container with a foot pedal opener on the floor in the kitchen. My 1055 has enough floor space so that it's not in the way. :)

Congrats on your new (to you) TC.

Thanks Wayne! I'm SO happy with it and the extra room for the first time in decades of truck camping!
Jaxom, :) :) There's still room on my dance card! ;)
Dak - JimBollmanExplorerAs long as a bunch of us have mentioned reusing plastic grocery bags. A tip on this board a few years ago on storing plastic bags in the camper is what we do. I cut the tapered part of a plastic water bottle off so I have a cylinder with a bottom. Just start stuffing the bags in as tight as you can. You will be amazed how many bags you can stuff in a water bottle that you would throw away or in recycling. We started a 6 week trip with two bottles stuffed and with what we added from groceries we bought along the way we never ran out.
- travelnutzExplorer IIWe hang our plastic garbage bags we get from the stores on the non-entry side of the RV next to ours because we don't want that stinky stuff even on our site! Got to be one step ahead of the game!!! he he
