which truck is best

I am buying a toy hauler which weighs 14,189 and my ford F-250 has a max fifth wheel capacity of 15,900. Is that enough wiggle room or do I need a different truck ,which truck would be better dodge, chevy , or stay with ford I dont want a dually if I don't have to. Please help

  • OK, to seriously answer your question. No, the F250 is not enough truck. You're in 350 diesel teritory with that much weight. Any of the big three brands will work.
  • Brand doesn't matter. Just make sure it has the Cummin's engine.

As I understand over 90% of Ford trucks are still on the road.

I'm sure that they will get to them with a tow truck eventually.
  • I have a dodge so clearly that is the best choice. Anything else is questionable at best.
  • Pin weight is what you need to be concerned with, not so much trailer weight.

  • The 250 is way too little truck. After that, it's your choice of truck as nothing is really 'better' other than its load capacity.
