We've been camping for more than 30 years with 5 rigs, 3 pop-ups and 2 TT. I can count on one hand how many times I've cooked inside the trailer. Simply don't want to smell it up. Mostly boiled water for coffee/tea/hot chocolate. I had a Rockwood pop-up for 21 years and only lit the stove once when it was brand new to make sure it worked.
I've always used a 2 burner Coleman stove outside for cooking connected to the bulk tank. I was a Scout, and have been involved with my son in Scouts for many years. We always cooked outside in all kinds of weather. Nothing beats the smell of bacon cooking in the morning on a Coleman stove.
