that's a great idea on pre-cooking bacon at home. I never thaught of that. I think im gonna steal that idea, I like that. Pre-cook it and put in freezer bags right in camper fridge, and then a quick fry either indoor or outdoor when needed to warm up, great idea, and less grease at the campground. I also par-boil any boned in chicken at my house. I will probably continue to do this now that I have a fridge also with us. parboil the chicken and throw in freezer bags inside fridge and then just throw on my outdoor bbq at the campground.
I just wonder if its safe to have food like that inside camper with black beers? I do have a cooler but im thinking of just leaving drinks inside the cooler and leave all the food and milk inside my camper. its a decent size frige in my small featherlite.. these are great ideas and im sure my family will get a routine down. I know over the years though with tent camping that I hated with a passion keeping meat in a cooler.. I love the idea of keeping meet cold in the fridge, but im wondering how safe w/beers in the dacks that would be?
