- kyle86ExplorerIf it's a 4x4 the driveshafts on those things are like 2" diameter and the engine is transverse/fwd style.

Those are just drilled through he floor and bolted to the frame!
What frame? Unibody!!! Chris
Even unibodys have frame rails! No not the heavy steel separate fame body type, but the 2" reciver hitch bolts to it just fine! The Ridgeline has a 5,000# tow rating and will do all of that and more! Brake controller would be an add on, but likely prewired.
Turning, now looking at the pin location that could be an issue, especially with the upward sloping bed rails.
I would certainly hope he has a sliding hitch!!! - dodge_guyExplorer II

I don't doubt he can pull it, I worry about them stopping it.

Not on a full size pickup, which is what I was saying about how they attach the hitch. On the vehicle in question they do the same thing. A unibody is THE frame! So yes it is bolted to the frame (unibody). - N-TroubleExplorerKnowing how 5ers tow I would bet that thing actually tows pretty nice. Looks pretty **** light...
- 45RicochetExplorerPersonally that is one camper we have all run across. Do I pass it.... or lay back not following to closely because of sway or bad driver. Believe me that Ridgeline driver could care less about your rig or his for that matter. Good time for a bathroom break IMO.
- elidodgeExplorerWonder what shape the truck will be in after pulling the trailer for a year? Would you like to cross the Rockys in that rig?
- dshelleyExplorerI like it.
