Even though I can afford it, I haven't bought new since 1983. Chevy had come out with their diesel truck in 1982 and I wanted one, but couldn't find a used one up here to buy.
With the high prices and the cheap (very) extended financing they've already given everyone, I'm sort of expecting the auto industry to start slowing down. Read this morning that Ford is stopping production on some of the trucks for a week due to slowing demand.
