Who says that we need cheap pickups?
I don't like spending money any more than most people and I keep reading comments that some people want cheap, simple pickups but the people actually putting their money down seem to have a different ...

Special order you can. It is easy and takes about 6-8 weeks to come in.
I don't understand why some people buy what is on the dealers lot if it is not what they really want. Why compromise? Get exactly what you want. You don't pay a higher profit margin. You get exactly what you want with nothing you don't want. You just need to be patient for 6-8 weeks.
I'll keep it simple. For 40 years I bought mid level trim vehicles. I wanted to save my money for retirement. Now that I am at retirement, I bought a top level trim truck.
This is my 2nd truck, my 1st new truck and maybe my last truck. I really enjoy all the gizmos. Heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, hands free cell phone through the truck, built-in Nav, backup camera, cargo camera, built-in trailer towing mirrors, real leather seats, keyless entry and start.
I could have done this a long time ago, but then I would have less money for retirement. We all get a choice. :)
