Who says that we need cheap pickups?
I don't like spending money any more than most people and I keep reading comments that some people want cheap, simple pickups but the people actually putting their money down seem to have a different ...

When we went shopping for a new RAM, it was planned to be our last pickup truck. We wanted the full center console, DW wanted separate temperature controls, we did not want a sunroof, we wanted the Aisin transmission, did not think we wanted the Nav feature, did not want the bed view camera, as in 2015 it moved park view camera to small screen on mirror, so we found a truck in Colorado that matched up 99%, as it has Nav. In the end we love the truck and the Nav is OK, however needs a map update.
We have put 20k on in 15 month and it is a pleasure to drive on long trips. It has been to Arizona and back twice, and leaves again after Christmas for Arizona to return again in the spring.
It tows a 16k 5er very well, and cruises empty at high speeds effortlessly, like it is on rails.
Bells and whistles? We will keep them and would do it again in a microsoft minute. Heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel! :B :B :B
