Who says? I say!
I wanted a truck with some pulling power to replace my Ram 1500.
I looked at newer trucks, and briefly looked at new Ram CTD trucks (frightening!).
I kept looking, and found the truck in my sig. It is pretty much the same as my 1500, except it is a 2500 CTD, with the trim package I have always liked, the front bumper/grill guard I like, and the 5 speed manual tranny.
Oh, sure, it isn't perfect, I may wind up putting another 2 grand or so into it fixing little petty junk, but when I get it all done it will last me the rest of my life (probably).
A brand new truck for 40 to 60 thousand dollars? Ain't never gonna happen in this house!
The only bad thing about the 2500 is that it is too heavy to tow behind the motorhome!
