Who says that we need cheap pickups?
I don't like spending money any more than most people and I keep reading comments that some people want cheap, simple pickups but the people actually putting their money down seem to have a different ...

one word in the title of this thread instantly raised my antennas and I followed the thread to try to figure it out. On a lot of the posts I kinda got the idea that status is in the forefront. In others I see practicality.
I bought my last TV in 2012. It is an F250 XLT crew cab short bed gasser. I could have cut some more corners but this thing is supposed to get me to the end. It went out the door for 36 and change.
So if my truck is a cheapie so be it.
Personally I thing the work economical is more appropriate.
