Just a comment on the smaller, 1/4 ton truck - Too Light - tha trailer will wiggle all over the road, and will take the truck for a ride instead of the truck taking the trailer for a ride.
You need a heavy truck to keep a trailer balanced ... once you get a small truck, you can't control the weight its hauling or towing. AND, you can't have a heavy truck and a small engine, and expect it to 'do work' ...
I know, I know - small diesels, but still even a diesel truck needs SOME weight to brace against the side-sway of a TT or 5er ... some people seem to think a small super=charged diesel has unlimited power, like it was manufactured on the planet Krypton. Well, diesels have their limits too.
And, sometimes trolls build interesting threads, by accident. :) :)
