I think you will start to see the move towards smaller/lighter/rv's in the future. A 35 ft fiver will still need a big truck but you may see families start to choose lightweight alternatives.
We are doing this now in our family. We sold the TT and the F350 and are going to use our 4cyl Sorento to pull a lightweight PUP. Should get 20 ish mpg while pulling.
