The all aluminum floor had the gripe of being too cold. The newer floor is suppose to help prevent that......so I was told by a Livinlite dealer.
As an owner of a 2013 Camplite 21BHS I have the aluminum floor. While I do like it, there have been complaints on various forums about how cold the floor gets and several people laid out foam floor tiles to help mitigate the cold. When the new floor was being unveiled, the greater insulation was one of benefits being touted. I've seen how they are made and would be comfortable having that in my trailer. We've had condensation form on our trailer floor when it gets cold overnight while camping.
