Whole House Water Filter for Camping Use???

I think the use of a filter would be influenced by the quality of the water coming out of your tap. City water is closely regulated throughout the country and is safe to drink. While this is true the quality of the water varies greatly, at least as far as taste goes. Personally I would continue to use your current filter as a way to keep your system clean of large particulates that can get into systems.

If it tastes bad then a more aggressive system might be warranted. If it is a private well system then you might need something different.
