I've been all over with my 2011 F150 5.0 and 6200 lb. TT and it has never been a problem. People seem to worry that it revs high but that is how it's designed to work. It's torque curve is higher than the EB so it revs higher when it's working.
I've never second guessed by decision in the 3 1/2 years I've had my truck and TT combo.
