Hope that was not pointed at me..
Yeah, I did mess up.. My available cargo is 3,451 lbs on my 2013 F250..
Here is pictures of my stickers (of course I cleaned off the Vin number).

My registration papers which has the trucks curb weight..

That is for a 2013 F250, XLT, Super cab, 4x2, short bed, 6.2 with 3.73 axle. Stickered for about $48K bought it for $38K, ordered it the way I wanted.
The only way you will get a F150 at a max of 2,200 lbs capacity would be to buy a XL, REGULAR CAB, Shortbed, 4x2, with Eco Boost, HD and Max tow..
At that time a F150 supercab XLT 4x2 with eco boost and HD/max tow stickered for somewhere around $60K, most likely would have been able to get for about $50K or so.. and it would only have HALF the cargo capacity of my F250..
The Eco boost engine plus HD and Max tow options really push the cost up..
Sure, the Eco gets a bit better EMPTY mileage, about 20-22 MPG compared to my F250 that gets me 15.0-15.8 empty but so what, the money a saved not buying a F150 can buy me a lot of gas..
Besides, towing mileage between the two WILL be nearly identical!
Yep, I get low of 9.8 to high of 10.5 towing nearly 7K of weight which is pretty much spot on to what a F150 with Eco is going to do..
