Why are Truck Campers so poorly made?

Like I said, I looked at about half a dozen including the legendary Northern Lite series as well. The one I settled on was the best of the lot in terms of design, size, features, quality etc.
I'm just amazed at what manufacturers charge, and how little attention they pay to the details. Even little things, like a light that gets obstructed when you open a cupboard. Stuff that anyone with common sense should be able to foresee as well as quality control issues when it comes to straight lines and clean seams and latches that are robust and will last.
These guys who have taken offence have obviously developed an emotional attachment to inanimate objects and think I'm insulting their intelligence because they never noticed these things before. But plenty of people do agree with me.
Why close a discussion. Don't you guys believe in freedom of speech? Perhaps the manufacturers will listen and make changes.
Only good comes of honesty.
