Why are Truck Campers so poorly made?

@ Boatycall: If you want people to think it was my poor decision and lack of flexibility and being nit picky, fine. I think I have high standards and was simply disappointed after closer scrutiny. But let's let people decide that for themselves. Your reaction is typical of someone who's got a vested interest in TCs. Perhaps you manufacture them. If so, it's best to come clean.

Already something good has come of this. I found about about Livin Lite campers. I'm going to look into that and other more robust campers that are built to higher standards.
