Having owned 3 TC in the past 25 years, I've of the opinion that for the most part TC are made as well as the manufacturer is willing to pay for. Both of my Lances had evidence of poor craftsmanship, especially in the interior trim. My present Eagle Cap has many fine features but the interior floor trim mouldings were a disgrace when craftsmanship is considered. They looked like they were installed by someone that had very little experience and/or talent in finish work. I have to agree with the OP that for the most part there are very few TC worth what they're asking for them. Just look at how much their value decreases each year. I've also owned 2 TT's over the years and found them to be as good or better built quality wise then any of the TC's I've owned.
