Why are Truck Campers so poorly made?
So I bought a new hard side truck camper recently. I'm not going to say which. Before that I had a pop-up, so this is my second camper. I looked at a half dozen more campers before my purchase, but...

Comparing the cost of campers to cars is not really valid...there are 16 million cars sold each year...in the US alone!
A relative handful of campers...and TC's the smallest niche of that.
Ever do business with the automotive companies?
They are ruthless in squeezing every last penny out of their suppliers...with the trade-off that you will get the greater volumes!
This just doesn't happen in the camper world...there is no volume.
