First, as a relatevely new owner of a LivinLite CampLite 10.0 TC, I am pleased with reading all the positive comments on here about this manufacturer. We decided on the CampLite because for a similarly sized Lance here in our hometown, the Lance cost 20K more (but it did include a generator). Also, the local dealer would not budge on price, but one in Florida saved us 3K.
Some comments I read about Aluminum denting in hail storms but fiberglass having no problems.... ever heard about cracks in fiberglass? We had a Holiday Rambler, aluminium skinned TT with fiberglass end caps, and the only issue we ever had was cracking in the fiberglass (at corners). Also, our CampLite's all aluminum roof is very, very strong. I weigh 185lbs and was able to walk on it without a single bit of flex in the material. Also, the CampLite's roofs are slightly dome shaped to shed water better.
While the CampLites might not offer as "refined" enteriors as other brands, the Adzel wood-looking stuff is extremely light weight, and to me, looks nice.
At this early time I cannot say that the unit will last and last, but its construction sure leads one to hope that it will.
