Why diesel trucks?
Judging from my other two posts a lot of folks that responded drive DRW diesel trucks to carry the heavier multi slide campers. I understand the DRW for heavier payload but why diesel? Just looking at...

I said most, what I was referring to was scenic places not freeway places...Places the locals go to hunt and fish like Goose creek summit(HW 55) or Warm Lake summit/Landmark/Deadwood/Sesech etc etc.
Places local truck camper owners take them and there toys..I understand most here are travelers but not all TC owner are and keep close to home for there outdoor activities..I don't do freeway's and live 200 miles from the nearest.
States differ also,highway 12 from Idaho to Montana over the pass is 55 mph until you hit Montana...A diesel would not help at all over the Idaho side towing anything because of the speed limit/curves and road condition..
