Diesels are not for everyone..
Sure they are not.
Don't buy them if you don't have trusted mechanic and can DIY maintenance.
Looking at this chart, only the last Ford diesel show cheaper cost of ownership than gasoline twin.
But I see that 7.3l Powerstroke was sold $1,150 cheaper than its gasoline twin.
Ask any diesel owner and he will tell that is BS.
Than whole calculation is based on diesel fuel being 10% more expensive than gasoline.
When 7.3 Powerstorke come on the market, diesel was 10 if not 20% cheaper than gasoline.
