Why diesel trucks?
Judging from my other two posts a lot of folks that responded drive DRW diesel trucks to carry the heavier multi slide campers. I understand the DRW for heavier payload but why diesel? Just looking at...

I like my modified, hot rodded diesel that makes ridiculous power.
I have it because I’m an old hot rodder... but is it worth it, cost-wise? Hell no!
Diesels do not make economic sense for pickup trucks.
But, they’re fun.
I still roll my eyes when someone says you “need” the extra power.
A long time ago, an old guy ttold me, rather harshly, ‘That’s what you got gears for!!” when the subject of getting up hills in trucks with small engines came up.
He was right. You will get where you’re going. You don’t “need” 800+ ft/lbs. torque.
But it’s fun to roll uphill like a jet taking off.
