Why diesel trucks?
Judging from my other two posts a lot of folks that responded drive DRW diesel trucks to carry the heavier multi slide campers. I understand the DRW for heavier payload but why diesel? Just looking at...

Hey Jayco, it’s all in fun. Trust me I have the utmost appreciation for what you’re saying and agree with you completely. Well almost completely, lol.
That is a sweet truck and I traditionally shop and think along the same lines as you. I’m the first guy in line to see the value that you have there and it’s the same reasons I choose what I choose for the most part. Sure there’s some luxury impulse wants that I do because we can afford it, but talking trucks, I dropped everything when that old 07 went up for sale in 08. Not $7k, but honestly only about 5-8 grand more than I could sell it for today 11 years and 160k miles later. My needs were and are differnet. I wanted/needed the doo it all truck. Haul the kids 2&6 now 12&16, pull 10klbs one day, drive x country the next. Handle 2’ of snow or 110deg desert or the Cassiar highway in April. Not eat me alive in fuel bills and at the same time just genrally be bad @ss at most tasks save for stop n go traffic and parallel parking, lol.
