Why do wet baths suck?

3M makes a line of Command products specifically for the bathroom (the adhesive is different because of the humidity). We have a number of there shelfs and hooks in the bathroom and they have held without problems for two years.

Thanks for the tip. I'll take a look at the 3M products to see if they offer a better alternative to the suction cups.

You could look into 3M Command strips, or better yet, their hook and loop products are pretty incredible. Remove the suction cup and replace it with the 3M product.

Since buying our first TC in 2001, we have never set foot in any campground restroom or shower facility. Well, ok. We may have gone in to wash our hands somewhere along our travels. Haven't had trouble with the TP getting wet, but we do have to make sure the TP door is closed tight. Sometimes it takes some brute force.

Gotta be smarter than the toilet paper.

Although we have made good use of our wet bath, we will be going back to a dry bath in our next camper. Now that we have a bigger truck verses my previous short bed F250, we have more camper choices and space available.

Given a choice of no bath verses wet, the wet bath is an excellent use of little space and we would not have given it up.

Who ever would have thought that a post about wet toilet paper would get 4+ pages of comments?

We have our TP on a string -- and take it out for shower time. Yes, a wet bath is less convenient -- but in a tiny camper (trailer or TC), it saves a lot of room.
