We all know the old designations and capacities aren't what they used to be. Why get so technical now and add more confusion to the mix? Like scrambling English and the Metric weights and measures already has.
I can see it now: A big 150 or 1500 / 2 or 250 or 2500 / 3, Etc., decal on every truck!
Aren't those numbers already on the sides of trucks today? Well, accept for the Tundra and Titan.
Although I am not talking about the manufacturers renaming trucks. I am just talking about what we have been ignorantly calling them for decades just because "that is the way it has always been" and some are too lazy to learn and do things the correct way. I guess it is just easier for them to continue being wrong instead of taking the time to be right.
