We all know the old designations and capacities aren't what they used to be. Why get so technical now and add more confusion to the mix? Like scrambling English and the Metric weights and measures already has.
I can see it now: A big 150 or 1500 / 2 or 250 or 2500 / 3, Etc., decal on every truck!
I remember when the gas stations changed the unit of measure from gallons to liters and the mess that created.
