Class 1 is what most call a midsize or compact truck with payloads getting to 3/4 of a ton.
Class 2A is what you call a "1/2 ton" even though payloads get to over 1 ton.
Class 2B is what you call a "3/4 ton" even though payloads get to over 1.5 tons.
Class 3 is what you call a "1 ton" even though payloads get to over 2 tons in SRW and over 3 tons in DRW.
Ya know? It makes me glad I have NO CLASS .... I tow a Travel Trailer! (you know, CLASS A, B, C???)
Add these together you end up with an alphabetical nightmare! I'll just stick with "no class!"
So, I prefer to drive a "no class" vehicle and tow a "no class" RV! Wow! Life is GREAT when you have "no class"!
