True, but so does saying class 2A, class 2B, or class 3.
But who wants to drive around in a FORD F-2A or a GMC 2B no matter that RAM 3:E
I see no real issue with the current naming convention since it's really more of a generalization as to category of truck and allows for a wider range of GVWR offering for the same model/line of truck.
