What does it really matter. When you buy a truck it is up to you to make sure the capacity is right. The MFG is required by law to disclose the payload and the gross weights along with axle. It would be IMHO much better to educate the people towing, hauling etc. than to put another badge on a truck that is either not true or misleading.
