Why Truck Camper need a air bag? Do I really need it?

I have a 2016 RAM 3500. According to the sticker its payload is 5600 lbs. I am getting a truck camper tomorrow, the dealer told me I need to pay $2200 extra for the stuff hook the camper on the pi...

We have the 2014 Ram dually. Just added upper Stableloads and Timbrens on back. Works great. No need for airbags.
Hope you have/are getting Torklift tiedowns.
