The issue is that with 11'+ camper- COG is behind rear axle, meaning all the weight will go on the one axle, if not will cantilever some weight from front and add it to the rear.
Standard dually suspension will handle that, but the rear will squat.
Pick up the dry camper with no worry and than see how it seats on the truck.
I had the same dilemma with my new 2017 F350. Everybody here was telling me that I will need modifications.
BS the truck handles the 6500 lb (wet) camper just fine and delivers 2-fingers driving.
I am still about 1.5" below factory overload stops on the axle.
