Why Truck Camper need a air bag? Do I really need it?

I have a 2016 RAM 3500. According to the sticker its payload is 5600 lbs. I am getting a truck camper tomorrow, the dealer told me I need to pay $2200 extra for the stuff hook the camper on the pi...

Most folks with truck campers also tow something. We tow a 7,000 lb car hauler. If you plan on towing something, that will effect your need for suspension mods.
