Why Truck Camper need a air bag? Do I really need it?

I have a 2016 RAM 3500. According to the sticker its payload is 5600 lbs. I am getting a truck camper tomorrow, the dealer told me I need to pay $2200 extra for the stuff hook the camper on the pi...

$235 labor for all that stuff is a bargain, trust me.
And I assume you will pay tax on top of it?
Then dealers probably do have part mark up, but all you can say "good for them"
