I drove Ford, Ram, and GMC when I was searching for a new truck about six months ago.
I didn't like the ride of the Ford and the heated seats turned themselves off after 20 minutes of use which was a no go for DW. It could be 100 degrees and she will run them all day. I did like the placement of the dash screen for the back up camera.
I really liked the interior of the Ram but didn't like the mirrors. DW and I both found it difficult see around the dually fenders with the exterior mirrors. The stopping distance also felt longer than the others.
I liked the looks of the GMC but they weren't willing to deal and they only had 2013 and 2014's in stock.
The local Chevy dealer had both 2014 and 2015 models in stock. DW didn't like the interior of the 2015 and considering the power train was the same it didn't make a difference to me. We saved a few thousand dollars on the 2014 as well, but not a huge difference when you are looking to spend that kind of money. It did allow us to get extra options we probably would not have spent the money on otherwise.
The only complaints I have with the Chevy is the placement of the radio being low in the dash and the 10 second delay before the camera kicks on. Kind of annoying when backing up.
Pay attention to the small details like the heated seats. It would make for a long day of driving if DW isn't happy.
